Free First Class
Your first BJJ class in Lisbon is free
If you want to try BJJ or no-gi grappling in Lisbon without paying upfront, your first class at Grapplers Collective is free. Come train as our guest in Campolide — book a night, do the full session, and decide after. No contract, no gi, no pressure.
What a free first class actually means
This is not a watered-down taster or a sales pitch on the mat. It is a real class: you warm up, you train live games with a partner, and you leave having actually grappled. You only pay if you decide to come back.
We keep classes small, so we ask you to book a spot rather than just turn up. Message us, pick a night, and we will save you a place and have someone meet you at the door.
What to expect in your first session
Classes are beginner-friendly and taught in English. You do not need experience and you do not need a gi — bring shorts or leggings and a rash guard or T-shirt. The gym has changing rooms and showers.
Training is built around live games that scale to your level, so a first-timer and an experienced grappler can train in the same room and both get the right challenge. You start solving problems from day one instead of memorizing techniques.
After your free class
If it clicks, drop-ins are €10 with no commitment, and monthly plans start at €65 — no contracts, cancel anytime. There is no rush and no pressure to sign up on the night.
We also run a free monthly open seminar, open to everyone from any gym, built around performance in live rounds. It is another low-commitment way to keep training with us.
